We are excited about the launch of our Legacy Campaign to remodel the Retreat Center. For 50 years the Retreat Center has been our largest dormitory space. We are asking churches and individuals to make an investment in the next generation as we develop and renovate our facilities. We are looking for 100 people or churches that would be willing to join us by making a $1,000 donation to this project. Any donation is appreciated and will make a difference. Camp Crestwood has a legacy of countless changed lives. It’s time to invest in the Legacy of Camp Crestwood.

Presently, the RC is our largest housing facility but is seasonal. It is a two-story concrete slab, cinder block building without insulation, therefore requiring annual winterization. Our goal is to make it usable year-round and improve the living conditions in the facility. Here’s the run down for improving the RC.
FLOORING:
Remove all remaining carpet
Add cove base
FRAMING AND WALLS:
Remove all old AC window units and frame those spaces
Add insulation and drywall to each room
Paint all the interior
RESTROOMS & SHOWERS:
Remove the old shower partitions to create more space
Renovate the restrooms
ADDITIONS:
Add a hallway in the “Pit” dividing the space into two rooms
Remodel two rooms to become shower rooms
EXTERIOR & HVAC:
Add EIFS to the exterior for insulation purposes
Add a brick skirting to tie the facility with our present facilities
Add mini-split heating and air systems
Our goal is to raise $100,000 cash in addition to the $50,000 grant we have already received. Donations of $1,000 by 100 people or churches will get us there!
